SKUAST Kashmir B.Tech AI in Agriculture: Final Counselling Date 27 July 2026

SKUAST Kashmir Gives B.Tech (AI in Agriculture) Candidates One Last Chance to Complete Counselling

If you had booked your seat for the B.Tech (AI in Agriculture) programme at SKUAST Kashmir but missed the counselling on 23rd July because of the bad weather, there is good news for you. The university has given all such candidates one final opportunity to complete their admission process.

What Exactly Happened

SKUAST Kashmir had earlier called candidates who confirmed and booked their provisionally allotted seats (from Seat Allotment Rounds 1 to 17) to appear before the Counselling Board on 23rd July 2026 for document verification and counselling. Many candidates could not make it that day, mostly due to bad weather in the region. Understanding this genuine difficulty, the university has decided not to cancel their seats outright and is instead giving them one more chance.

Who This Applies To

This applies only to candidates who had already deposited the seat booking fee and confirmed their provisionally allotted seat during Rounds 1 to 17, but were unable to report for verification on 23rd July 2026.

If you did not book your seat during these rounds, this opportunity does not apply to you.

The New Date You Need to Remember

You now need to appear in person before the Counselling Board on Monday, 27th July 2026, at 10:00 AM.

The venue is the same as before: the Directorate of Education, SKUAST Kashmir, Shalimar.

Why You Should Not Miss This Date

The university has made it clear that this is the final opportunity. If you fail to report on 27th July, your seat will be treated as refused, and it will be offered to the next candidate in the merit list. In other words, there won't be another chance after this one, so it's best to plan your travel and paperwork in advance, especially if weather conditions are uncertain again.

What You Should Do Now

Since this is essentially the same counselling process that was scheduled earlier, you should carry all the documents you were originally required to bring for document verification. The notification does not list these documents separately, so if you're unsure what to carry, it would help to check your original counselling notice or contact the university directly.

All other terms and conditions of the admission process remain the same as before. Nothing else about the eligibility, fee, or procedure has changed, only the reporting date has been extended for those who missed it.

In Short

If your seat is confirmed but you missed the 23rd July counselling due to weather, be at the Directorate of Education, SKUAST Kashmir, Shalimar, by 10:00 AM on 27th July 2026, with your documents ready. This is your last opportunity, so treat it seriously.
