KU FYUGP 3rd & 4th Semester Registration 2026: Dates, Eligibility, Process

University of Kashmir Opens FYUGP 3rd and 4th Semester Registration for Batch 2025

The University of Kashmir has notified the registration schedule for FYUGP 3rd and 4th Semester students of Batch 2025 under NEP 2020. If you are among these students, you can register from 06 August 2026 to 19 August 2026.

This means the registration window is not open right now. You still have time to prepare your documents and subject choices before the link goes live.

Once registration begins, you will need to complete it along with fee deposit and subject selection within this same window. The University has also made it clear that your actual class work will follow the academic calendar issued by the Higher Education Department, so keep an eye on that separately.

Who Can Register

If you have met the required attendance in your previous semester, you are eligible to register for the 3rd semester. For this, you will need to visit the Information Cell of your own college to complete the formalities.

There is also good news for students from earlier batches. If you belong to the 2015 to 2024 batches and had appeared in your 1st or 2nd semester exams, or in your first year under the annual scheme, but never registered for the 3rd semester or 2nd year, you can still do so now. You will need to submit the online form available on the University website. If you face any issue while filling the form online, you can visit your College Information Cell along with all your original documents for help.

A Special Note for CBCS Students

If you are moving into the 3rd or 4th semester under FYUGP through the CBCS route, there is one thing you cannot skip. You will have to clear the Skill Enhancement Course of 1st and 2nd semester as a deficiency course. Without this, your registration under NEP 2020 will not be considered complete, so it is worth sorting out early.

How to Complete Your Registration

The process has a few clear steps, and it helps to know them before you sit down to register.

  1. Submit your Enrollment Sheet for Batch 2025, or your downloaded Admission Form if you belong to a previous batch, to your college. This form should carry your subject combination as per the syllabus currently in vogue.
  2. Your college will then assign your subjects online based on what you have mentioned in your Enrollment Sheet or Admission Form. If your college is using the unique form number already printed on your form, that same form will be accepted on the University's online portal, so there is no need to fill a fresh one in that case.
  3. Once your subjects are assigned, confirm them yourself by visiting the MyFormStatus page on the University website, www.kashmiruniversity.net, and entering your University Registration Number.
  4. Check the subjects shown there carefully. If everything matches your choice, you can go ahead and confirm it. If it does not, do not pay your fee yet. Visit your College Information Cell first and get the subjects corrected within the stipulated time.

This step matters because once you pay your fee, no subject change will be allowed under any circumstance. So take a moment to verify your subjects before you make the payment.

Fee and Exemption

If you are a physically challenged or orphan student, you are exempted from paying the examination fee. However, you will still need to pay the registration fee and other allied fee applicable to all students, so this exemption applies only to the exam fee.

For Colleges

Principals of all affiliated colleges have also been asked to forward the Registration returns along with the fee report to the University office within 10 days of the closure of admission. While this instruction is meant for colleges, it gives you an idea of how soon your registration record reaches the University after the window closes, so there is little scope for delay on either side.
