KU B.Ed 3rd and 4th Semester Registration 2024–26: Dates, Fees and Process

University of Kashmir Opens Registration for B.Ed 3rd and 4th Semester (2024–26 Batch)

The University of Kashmir has issued a registration notification for B.Ed students of the 2024–26 batch who are moving into the 3rd and 4th semester. If you are enrolled in a B.Ed college affiliated with the university, this notice tells you exactly when to register and what fees you need to pay.

Who This Applies To

This notification is for regular B.Ed candidates from the 2024–26 batch studying in colleges affiliated with the University of Kashmir. It applies to you if you are now eligible to move from the 2nd semester into the 3rd and 4th semester.

Eligibility for Registration

Before you can register, you need to have cleared at least 50% of your papers from the 1st and 2nd semester, counting both internal and external components together. If you have not met this requirement yet, you will not be eligible to register for the 3rd and 4th semester at this stage.

Registration Dates

Registration formalities will run from 5 August 2026 to 17 August 2026. You need to complete the process in your respective college within this window, so it helps to plan ahead rather than waiting for the last day.

How to Register

You will need to download the registration cum examination form for the 3rd and 4th semester from your college. Along with the form, you must attach a copy of the fee acknowledgement slip, which is generated online after you pay the required fee.

Once you submit these documents, it becomes your college's responsibility to forward your registration details to the university. Principals of affiliated private B.Ed colleges are required to send the online registration return, along with the downloaded fee report and the 3rd and 4th semester examination fee report, to the university within ten days after the last date, that is, by 27 August 2026.

Fees You Need to Pay

The university has listed two sets of charges. The first set covers general development and welfare funds, and the second covers examination and degree related fees.

Development and welfare charges (one time, per student):

Fee Amount
University Development Fund Rs 1500
Sports Development Fund Rs 125
Cultural cum Literacy Development Fund Rs 50
IT and SS Rs 100
NSS Rs 100
Corpus Fund Rs 400

Examination and degree charges:

Fee Amount
Examination Fee (3rd and 4th semester) Rs 250 per paper
EMF plus hot and cold charges Rs 400 per semester, plus Rs 50, totalling Rs 450
Degree Fee Rs 750 per student

Since the examination fee is charged per paper, your total amount will depend on how many papers you are appearing in.

What If You Are Late

If you miss the registration window, the university has clarified that late fee terms will follow the same rules laid out in an earlier notification dated 5 February 2024, issued for the 2nd semester registration. We would still recommend registering within the given dates so you don't end up paying extra.

What You Should Do Now

Talk to your college and confirm that you meet the 50% eligibility requirement. Once that is clear, pay the fee, generate your acknowledgement slip online, and submit your form along with the slip in college between 5 and 17 August 2026. Your college will then take care of forwarding your documents to the university, so make sure you don't miss the deadline on your end, since colleges only have ten days after that to complete their part.

This notification, numbered F(RR-DE-B.Ed-2019-21-3rd and 4th Sem-Reg)KU/2026 and dated 23 July 2026, has been issued by the Assistant Registrar (Registration) at the University of Kashmir. For any college specific queries or updates, it is best to stay in touch with your college administration.
