Cluster University of Jammu Extends Admission Deadline for 3rd and 5th Semester Students
If you still haven't completed your admission formalities for the 3rd or 5th semester at Cluster University of Jammu, you have got a bit more breathing room. The Dean Academic Affairs has issued Notification No. 4, pushing the last date forward once again.
Who does this affect?
This extension covers students across several programmes. If you fall into any of these categories, this notice applies to you:
- 3rd and 5th Semester, FYUGP
- 3rd Semester, PG programmes
- 3rd Semester, 5 year integrated programme
- 3rd and 5th Semester, Integrated M.Ed
- 3rd Semester, B.Ed/M.Ed
- 3rd and 5th Semester, ITEP
What has changed
Earlier admission notifications had already set a timeline for these programmes. That timeline has now been extended, and the university has laid out two clear windows for you to complete your admission.
If you finish your admission process by 2 August 2027, you will only need to pay a late fee of Rs 500.
If you complete it between 3 August 2027 and 15 August 2027, the late fee jumps to Rs 3,000.
So the gap between the two slabs is significant. Finishing early saves you Rs 2,500, which is worth keeping in mind if you have been putting this off.
What stays the same
The university has made it clear that this notice only extends the timeline. Everything else, including eligibility criteria and other admission terms, continues exactly as mentioned in the earlier notifications.
What should you do
If your admission is still pending, try to complete it before 2 August 2027. It keeps your late fee low and avoids the last minute rush that usually builds up as deadlines approach. If you are unable to make that date, you still have until 15 August 2027, but be ready to pay the higher fee.
Where to check for updates
For the admission process itself, you should reach out to your respective college or department at Cluster University of Jammu, since they handle the actual formalities on the ground.
